Valarie Shultz-Wilson, Managing Partner
Valarie has been a change agent for the Civil Rights movement for more than 25 years. Her journey began at the Louisville Urban League where she held a position as a development director prior to being named President and CEO of the Southern Connecticut (ULSC) affiliate where she served as CEO for 14 years.
Robert M. Brown III, PhD, Director of Research
Robert is a medical sociologist, educator and social justice advocate who provides research and technical assistance services to increase understanding about the social determinants of health, health equity and, to inform policy. He provides these services to nonprofit organizations, private and government agencies and academic institutions.
Eric Wilson, Director of Finance & Business Operations
Eric brings over 10 years of management & financial consulting experience to Shultz & Co. He excels at the comprehensive implementation of processes and policies to maximize production and streamline core operations as well as an innate ability to lead high-functioning teams. He has served as an Operations Engineer, Senior Associate, and Strategic Consultant for GE Digital, GE Corporate, and GE Capital. Eric is a member of the National Association of Black Accountants.
Deondra Carter, Director of Marketing & Communications
Deondra is an entrepreneur and marketing expert who provides comprehensive marketing and communication services to not-for-profit organizations and purpose-driven for-profit businesses.
Jerry Bias, Director of Business Development
Jerry brings over 25 years of financial services experience to Shultz & Co. His Wall Street tenure spans the gamut of investment banking, hedge fund management and trading across the capital structure. Jerry has extensive knowledge of non-profit board participation and fundraising. He has owned and operated various businesses in emerging markets, agriculture and real estate. Jerry is a history and wine enthusiast.
